The items in the "Member Main Menu" pulldown list on the LION front page are password protected and not available. However, the following other areas are available if you would like to visit.
Daily Market Commentary. One particularly popular LION feature is the
Daily Market Commentary. Every morning, we obtain information on the prior
and current day financial markets from a variety of sources and condense it
into a summary that is only a few paragraphs. Brokers report finding this to
be an outstanding tool for letting them easily and quickly stay abreast of the
market and help guide their clients on decisions regarding when to lock in a
rate. You can see a portion of today's commentary on the LION front page in
the right hand column. To see a full version from a prior day, click the
link below. Then please return here with the "Return to Tour" button found
at the bottom of the commentary page.
"Non-Members Please Click Here" link. You will see this link in the
left column of the LION front page. This area is designed to provide mortgage
brokers who come to the LION site for the first time with a detailed
understanding of how LION can help them be able to close more loans for
their clients. When you click that link, you are presented with four choices. The "Mortgage Broker" choice is the one that will give you the best information. The "Consumers" choice simply directs consumers elsewhere.
Once in the Mortgage Broker area, you will see a menu on the left containing
the available choices. Some of the links there provide more detail on
features contained in the LION site, including illustrations. One lets you
see the growing number of testimonials received from current subscribers.
Another lets you view the list of participating lenders.
"Lender Homepages" and other links around the Lion head.
For those lenders who would like to maximize their exposure to mortgage
brokers, LION creates full websites. Portions of these sites are "public",
i.e. they do not require a password. LION is by far the dominant creator of
Wholesale Lender Websites, having created over 40. You can see a list of
these by clicking the "Lender Homepages" link that is in the left hand column
of the front page next to the Lion head image (or by using the link next to
the Lion head below).
Each of the other links around that LION head (pictured above) are public. "Industry Links" takes you to a Rolodex of mortgage industry Internet links. "Homepage Services" shows you the introductory material we post to explain our homepage services to prospective broker, lender and affiliate clients. "Contact LION" lists our email addresses and contains pictures of our staff. "Testimonials" is another way to get to see our customer comments about LION, to give you a sense of what they say it does for them. And "Press Releases" contains our past announcements about events and milestones at LION. Broker Websites. LION also creates websites for mortgage brokers. These, of course, are intended for consumers to visit and are fully available. You can see a few dozen of these at www.dreams.net/company_locator.
