From the LionChoice Comm Center, Click on the Genesis 2000 link. This will create your .imp file.

Save the .imp file to a location on your computer which you will need to remember for a later step.

Open Genesis 2000 for Windows.

From the main menu bar at the top of the page, click on the VAN button. This will bring down the Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac option menus.

Click on the Fannie Mae link. This will bring down the expanded Fannie Mae menu. Select option #9 (Import Fannie Mae format). The Import Fannie Mae Format window will open.

Click on the Browse button towards the bottom of the window. Scroll to the folder you saved your .imp file to.

Single Click on the file you want to import, DO NOT double click on the file. Click select on the right side of the window. The window will close and a list of your .imp files will show.

Check the gray box next to the applicant name whos application you want to import.

Click OK. This will import your .imp file into Genesis 2000. The Import Fannie Mae Format window will close and the loan selection panel will be pulled back up with your applicant added to it.
