LION and CALYX have created this entry point for mortgage professionals to execute real time loan program searches from an opened borrower file in the CALYX software program (v3.5 or greater). The interface takes a subset of information from the opened borrower file*, starts your default Internet browser and submits the query to LION's loan search engine. (Press Release)

The results from this query generate loan program information and pricing specific for that borrower. The LION loan search database is updated daily and represents 400,000 to 600,000 pricing variants from up to 80 wholesale lenders on a regional basis. (Over 400 Wholesale Lenders in total)

If you are a LION Member and have POINT? v3.5 or greater, and the LION Interface Software loaded on your computer, simply select your Documentation Type and your required Loan Fee range and then click on "Go!". The next thing you will see is a list of matching loan programs with daily updated interest rate and loan fees offered by wholesale lenders doing business in your area. Using this interface:

After you have installed the necessary software, open a borrower file in POINT?, then click "Interfaces" on the POINT? toolbar. Next select "Lender Services" and then "LION - Loan Search".

Your POINT? software will then fire up your Internet Browser, export the necessary fields (*see below) from the borrower record and bring you to this page. If you are a current LION member, simply select your Documentation Type and your required Loan Fee range and then click on "Go!" at the top of this page. You will then be asked for your LION username and password, and the Loan Search will be executed. LION Membership Information)

If you leave your browser open after the first loan search, any subsequent loan searches will not need to start a new browser or get your LION login/password.
